Moms Don't Hoard is leading a community-driven social movement that empowers women, reduces unnecessary consumption, and builds strong, sustainable communities across Israel and around the world.

When Community Becomes a Force for Change

What began as a single group of mothers has grown into a social and environmental movement, proving day after day that genuine human connection is the foundation of meaningful change.

We are building a society where sharing, solidarity, and sustainability are not just values—they are a way of life.

Families save money while valuable resources are passed from one woman to another with care, purpose, and a shared sense of responsibility.

Our vision is to build a global network of communities that connects women, reduces social inequality, and creates a future with less waste, stronger human connections, and more women driving meaningful change.

Moms Don't Hoard

Community

The Moms Don't Hoard community builds and nurtures communities founded on trust, mutual support, and sharing. Through our unique community model, we connect women, create local support networks, and foster a culture of generosity, belonging, and mutual aid—centered around everyday needs.

Today, hundreds of Moms Don't Hoard communities are active across Israel and around the world, helping families save money, reduce consumption and waste, and strengthen community resilience.

Alongside our local communities, we cultivate women’s leadership by training community leaders and equipping them with the knowledge and tools to build strong, active, and sustainable communities.

Local Authorities

Moms Don't Hoard partners with local authorities to establish and support sharing communities that strengthen community resilience, promote economic savings, and reduce waste.

Our community model connects residents, encourages mutual support, and fosters a stronger sense of belonging through simple, practical, and impactful community action.

Today, we partner with dozens of local authorities across Israel, providing professional guidance, training for community leaders, customized program development, impact measurement and evaluation, and implementation of a proven model that delivers meaningful social, environmental, and economic value.

Education

Moms Don't Hoard works within the education system based on the belief that values and lifelong habits are shaped from an early age. Through educational programs for schools and preschools, we bring together sustainability, community, social responsibility, and mindful consumption in engaging, hands-on, and age-appropriate ways.

Our programs, recognized in Israel's Gefen educational programs catalog, combine workshops, community activities, and hands-on, project-based learning. They equip students with the skills and values of critical thinking, collaboration, generosity, and environmental responsibility.

By doing so, we inspire the next generation to believe that consuming less can create stronger communities.

Community Events

Moms Don't Hoard creates events that bring women together, strengthen communities, and turn shared values into meaningful action. Throughout the year, we host a wide range of events—from networking gatherings for women and community leaders to family-friendly events, community celebration days, fairs, and engaging activities across Israel.

Reducing Consumption

Moms Don't Hoard promotes a culture of mindful consumption, reuse, and sharing, based on the belief that the most effective way to reduce waste is to consume less in the first place.

Through our active community of hundreds of thousands of women, we encourage members to give, receive, borrow, and reuse existing items instead of buying new ones.

Our model enables families to save money, reduce waste, and adopt more sustainable consumption habits in a simple and accessible way.

Alongside our community initiatives, we raise awareness through educational programs, lectures, research, and strategic partnerships. Our goal is to foster a cultural shift in which community replaces unnecessary consumption, and everyday items continue to serve family after family instead of being discarded.

Emergency Response

In times of crisis, a community is far more than a place to share essential items—it is a human safety net.

Moms Don't Hoard responds quickly to connect families in need with women and communities ready to help. Through our network of community leaders and volunteers, we provide real-time support for changing needs—from essential supplies, clothing, and food to assistance for displaced and affected families, as well as connections to community resources across Israel.

Drawing on the experience we've gained during national emergencies, we have developed a response model built on trust, community mobilization, and the ability to act quickly.

This approach enables us to reach thousands of families at the very moment they need support most.

At Moms Don't Hoard, we never let a mother face life's challenges alone.

One big family built on generosity, connection, and sustainability!
